fantasmic dining package question

we have reservations at mama melrose at 4 pm. i just looked at the map of mgm and see that it is on the complete other side of fantasmic. will there be any issues with us getting to the show? sorry, this is my first trip to wdw and i'm not sure of how long it will take to get from one side of the park to the other.

What time is the show?

You meal will take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. That brings you to 5:30p - 6:00p.

The walk isn't really as bad as it looks on the map, IMHO. Also, the special package entrance is near the entrance to the park, not by the Fantasmic entrance.

You wont have any problems at all. I did the same thing 2 years ago. You will love the restaurant, food is great and we had a phenomenal waiter. You go in a different entrance from everyone else so there is no line waiting, and the walk isn't as bad as it seems. Have Fun!

did the exact same thing on our Dec 06 trip and it was no problem at all ! so go have fun!
