How far in advance can you book this?

Thanks!

CarolA,
I'm interested in this myself.

I couldn't find an exact answer to your question but I did find this info at http://www.laughingplace.com./Info-ID-DLGuide-Visit-Food.asp.

It says "Fantasmic! Dessert Buffet
Treat yourself to a perfect seat for Fantasmic! and a selection of delicious desserts at the Fantasmic! dessert buffet. Seating is on the balcony of The Disney Gallery providing a wonderful view. To purchase tickets, go to the Guest Relations window outside Disneyland's Main Entrance. But be sure to arrive early, seating is very limited (15 - 18 seats per show) and tickets sell out very quickly. People usually begin lining up for tickets three hours or more before Disneyland opens. Price is $41 per person."

The remark that people line up for tickets 3-4 hours before the park even opens suggests to me that one may not be able to reserve this in advance.

edit:  I just noticed that MaryJo has posted a thread about this very subject with lots of great links to information. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43446

I am hoping MaryJo's links are right and I can reserve 30 days out. The only day Fantasmic is on is the day I arrive so there is no way to do the standing in line bit!

We booked 30 days ahead for our seats - we were there during the first week of August. We had to pick up our tickets the morning of the show at Guest Services. They told us to arrive for seating about 45 minutes before the show - but by that time, most everyone else had arrived. I'd be there at least an hour early for front row seating. If by any chance you are staying concierge at one of the Disney hotels, they will make the reservation for you and have the tickets when you check-in. Wish I had known that before I ordered them myself. Good luck getting tickets and enjoy the show.

Call this number:

(714) 781-4400

& ask how far out do they sell the tickets and buy them if you can . . . We went July 5 - 7, and I purchased 2 tickets about 12 days prior for the 7/6 early show. You have to pick them up at guest services the day of the show. They will tell you to wait at the bottom of the stairs to the Disney Gallery BUT DONT DO THAT!! Go up to the Gallery and wait in the courtyard. DH & DS8 went and they got there about 8:20 and there were already about 12 ppl waiting. At 8:30 they were seated one party at a time & they were able to get front row seats. They were even able to stay for the fireworks after Fantasmic. It's my turn next trip!!

I just did this last month. It is amazing!

Either call the 714 number listed above or the 1-800 Disney Club Disneyland number for reservations. You can book it 30 days prior to your desired date. You pay for your tickets when you make your reservation. There's no refund unless the show is cancelled.

Pick up your tickets at the guest relations window at your leisure -- it's outside the Disneyland gates on the left as you face Disneyland -- also, you should be able to pick up your tickets any date near your Fantasmic Balcony date, not just on that date -- I picked up my tickets up my first day at DLR which was a couple of days prior to my Fantasmic Balcony date.

I arrived about one hour prior to the show and was first in line. They set up a line in the Disney Gallery courtyard. If you get lost, ask a Disney Gallery cast member -- they're all very nice! They started seating people a half-hour prior to the show. Since they seat you in order, I had front row center seats.

how much do tkts cost for this event? is there a different price for adults vs kids?

The cost for the Balcony Seating is $45 per person, starting at age 3. There are only 21 seats up there, so booking at the 30 day point would be a good idea. You're seated in the order you arrive at the Gallery, NOT in the ticket purchase order- so get there early!

There is also Premier Seating at ground level (slightly raised from flat ground), and the prices for those seats are $45 for adults and $35 for kids. You get a dessert sampler box and a pin, and there are about 50 seats in that location. Seats here are in order of arrival, NOT in order of ticket purchase!!

We were there on Aug. 25, and had a Fantasmic time with my DB and his family. We'd do it again!!

We had our tickets sent to our hotel, which is an available option.

Have fun!!
