Fantasmic and Spectro--possible in same night??

Do all you experienced visitors think it would be possible for us to see Fantasmic on a Saturday night at 7PM, and then be able to make it in time to see Spectormagic at 9PM?? We are taking our first, long-awaited trip to WDW at the end of Feb. and I am still trying to figure out all the details. We have 2 kids, dd5 ands ds9. How long is Fantasmic(we are not doing a package)? And how early do we actually need to get to MK for a decent viewing spot for Spectormagic? I would love to hear what you all think!

Absolutely you can!

If that's how the schedule falls , then you are good to go. We do it annually. Whenever we go in late March during busy times, the hours are later and we always get the opportunity to see it like that.

Last year we saw Wishes nearly every night and another show earlier on almost every night.

Simply watch the show, go to your car, take a drive to the Mk.

HINT: If you are staying on property and using Disney transportation to get around. here is a way to get there quicker. Take a bus back to CBR (even if you are not staying there), or Boardwalk, since they are close by to MGM. Hop off and go directly to the bus for the Magic Kingdom and go on it to the park. I say this over driving because when you drive you must park at the lot THAT IS FAR AWAY FROM THE MK, whereas the busses pull right up to the park. SAVES LOTS OF TIME.

Fantasmic lasts exactly 30 minutes.


for Spectromagic you should get there as soon as you get there. You wont be there in time to grab a curb seat, as people hoard those spots 2 hours in advance. however, when you get there, just walk to the hub and you'll get a good spot regardless and then be in prime position for Wishes.

Thanks so much for the response civileng68. I love knowing that it's all possible. I'm really trying to "do it all" this trip. From following these boards, I feel like we are going to have such a good time!
