Fantasmic and MYW dining

Has anyone had any luck using their credits for this? I'm trying to plan meals and wondered if they would except it?

Well give it a try once you get there. Disney dining says no when we make ADR'S, but I am still gonna try to use the plan, if not I'm ok with paying.

From what I have read some disers are been able to use and some have not. WE go there next month and I am going to ask our server. Maybe we'll get lucky too, if not I am prepared to pay.

O.k. I was in this same delema also and did not know,, when we wre at H&V on May 16th, they did let us use the plan. when I questioned the waitress she said that "the people booking the reservations tell us they wont accept the plan" but in all actuality they do take the dinning plan.. We had a wonderfull dinner at H&V, my girls liked the food their and wanted to go back to eat there. Any questions just ask me.,...

When you booked H&V were you able to get reserved seatings for the Fantasmic show?

I was making m PS's the other day and the CM asked if I was on a dining plan. - we are, MYW.

So when we got to the H & V for Fantasmic she says ,"You know that you cannot use the plan for the Fantasmic pckge?" I told her that I did(we plan to try when we get there anyway).

She said that her computer would not even let her look up times without taking off my dining plan.

We used the dining plan for May 8th at H&V. I was expecting to pay since the lady on phone for PS said NO WAY could I use it. When the bill came I handed the waiter my card planning to charge it to my room and he came back with a recipt with a $0.00 balance. We used the dining plan. He told us no problem. We also got the reserve fantasmic seats. The only thing we had to pay for was the glowing ice cubes in my kids drinks. Missiowa

Just returned and we used the Dining Plan at H&V for Fantasmic with no issue. In fact, when I called a couple of weeks ago to make the PS, no mention was made of an issue with the Dining Plan (When I called multiple times in April, each time I was told I couldn't use it). I also called while we were on site, because of a problem with the PS date and again no mention of the issue.

I'm assuming that they have changed the rule and that's why the CM didn't mention it during the more recent conversations. In any event, we had a great dinner and great seats and limited waiting. Win Win Win!

This is exciting to hear. It has been so confusing trying to figure all of this out. I booked Mama Melrose originally because I had seen a few people here say they could use it with the plan and I actually had a CM say that I could use it. I have had more CM's say I could not use i than the one who said I could, but I figured we'll give it a shot. I'm thinking worse case scenerio they tell me no and hopefully the plan will cover dinner and we'll just wait in line for Fantasmic.

I am considering the possiblity of booking the Fantasmic Dinner Package on two nights of our upcoming trip in December.....we will do Fantasmic either one night or the other, depending on weather and tiredness levels. lol The coupon for the admission to Fantasmic on the night that we choose not to go will be given to a couple of lucky guests in an effort to spread a bit of pixie dust. I hope to be doing MYW dining, so I was looking for an answer to this very question. Thanks to the OP and the folks that answered! Maggie

This is where I'm confused.....one must book the FDP with a credit card, if you are a no-show, the card gets charged. We also have a PS for H&V for the FDP and my question, if we don't choose to pay for the meal cash (assuming they say no for the plan and FDP), can we just use the plan and forget the pass for FDP....I don't know if this makes sense ....

Just back and used it at MAma Melrose for the Fantasmic package with the Dining plan with NO problem, not even an issue. No credit on credit card and meal was free on the plan. GREAT DEAL, HIGHLY recommend you do this.

I love the idea of a give-away of the coupons but I believe you would have to show up for both reservations and get the coupons from the server and then give them away. Nice thought, though. Threehearts
