Hi,

I am hoping somebody can help. We are taking our DD(8) this Sept. and I might do Fantasmic. We have never seen it. She has Asperger's and has a lot of spectrum behaviors. Our main problem is line waiting everything about it is a problem. We get a GAC and have been fortunate with it for the rides. However, do you know any way they can accommodate for children who can't wait in line for fantasmic. My husband or I are willing to stand but the other would have to wait somewhere else with her. I heard that when you go into the stadium they make you fill up seats and if your party is not with you oh well. The other thing is I would need to sit towards the back, if we go she will never go up front. Can I request back stadium seating?

Thanks for your help.:)

The GAC waiting area for Fantasmic is with the area where individuals with physical disabilites wait. There is an area behind it by TOT so if you need a little more space while wailing just talk to the CM and expalian your child's needs. You will enter wth all the rest of the folks with disabilites.

The back rows typcially fill up last so you should not have a problem.

We have never had a problem with that just with going to the bathroom or getting food. If a member of your party leaves the stadium completely and they fill to capacity and close it then they will not be able to get back in, but as long as you remain in the stadium you should be fine. They do close off each seating section as it fills, but I have always just told the CM we had seats and pointed to where I am sitting. As long as one person is still there and can hold enough space for you it shouldn't be a problem. If you are towards the back that will be even easier. There is HC seating in the back that you may be able to use or the row in front of that.

The stadium does get crowded but it is pretty big so you should be able to find a place to take your DD where she can have some space. Back towards the bathrooms and where you enter there are open areas where you can just hang out until the show starts.

Have fun! Fantasmic is my family's favorite!

The very back row of seating is for guests with wheelchairs and ECVs. It is primarily open spaces for parking wheelchairs and ECVs intersperced with a seat for a companion for each 'parking space'. The row just in front of that is for the other members of the wheelchair/ECV parties. There is an additional row, still marked handicapped, which is used for other guests with special needs who are not using wheelchairs or ECVs.

we attempted to see it in march with our 7 yr old who is in the spectum. she was wearing ear plugs and still had a major melt down its REALLY loud! I dont know if its because we were up in the handicapped thing and near a speaker or what but i had to leave her with a CM to run back in and get my husband and other daughter to leave. we went to guest services and told them the situation. We could still hear the show clear acrossed the park and to me thats TOO loud. not sure if others exsperianced this or not ? My suggestion is to bring ear plugs with you. We are going again with her this weekend and she wants to try Illuminations at Epcot. She has a very hard time with the fireworks but was ok at DS and watched the 2 car action shows there wearing her ear plugs and has asked to go back! ;)
We also have a son who is 17 and Autistic so if you need more help send me a message so i dont bore everyone lol
