Early Entry was done away with last year (jan 6, 2002, I think) and instead they just hope the park an hour early for everyone. Or so was the "party line" last year when they cancelled EE.

For the last couple years (starting fall '01) they have only had Fantasmic for the summer months (June - Sept). Last year they did refurb on Fantasmic floats etc and this year it is the river refurb. Hopefully next year they will have it at least for weekends and holiday period, in additon to summer.

goofyme,
We'll be there the same week! I keep hoping that the ROA will be all done...AND they will decide to have a special Fantasmic showing, too (:) )...

<font color=navy>I don't think they open the park early anymore. We were there at the beginning of Feb, and I told my brother that the park opened an hour earlier than the posted time. Well, Disneyland posted that it opened at 9:am, and they began letting people in to wander Main Street at 8:30 (which is the usual MO for them). So, I think it's back to normal for them.

I think you are right in that, they do not open it earlier then posted time (like they were first doing). Supposedly now, the post opening time is suppose to be an hour earlier then what it would have been in the past. I am not sure I agree with that when they are not opening the parks until 10am. Did the parks really open at 11am in early March 2 years ago?
