Day 5
Just another relaxing day!
Another beautiful sunny morning another concierge breakfast. We were getting our routine down to pat now and knew when was a good time to get to the lounge what we wanted to eat etc and getting a seat.This was my 25 visit to WDW so park time isn’t a big thing for me all the time and so we decided to chill a bit today and soak up the Disney spirit!
After breakfast we headed to Downtown Disney to do a little shopping , window and actual.

Once in the World of Disney I have to say I wasn’t struck on the Womens apparel on this trip which is unusual given that I love to shop but I did find it hard to spend my money. I got a couple of bits but nothing major and we did some gift shopping.
I wanted to go to Babycakes because I love Gluten-free baked eats and so had been itching to try these cupcakes for an age.
Whilst not as elaborate looking as those you will find in a lot of the resort Food courts these were really tasty and I am excited to know that they are on sale at the Art of Animation food court now that it is open!
I had the Blondie Cupcake and a donut bite whilst Cinderfella went for the Brownie Cupcake and they were really good!
After our snack we had a little more of a walk around and then headed back to the car as it was time for lunch with over at Wilderness Lodge with some of our friends.
We did a little shopping first .... Cinderfella was playing with this bear…. It’s the little things!

Whispering Canyon Café for lunch it’s such a fun restaurant and you cannot beat their skillet for a nice all you can eat lunch not only that but their milkshakes come with free refills! I went for a berry smoothie though because I was just worried about eating too much and these thankfully are not free refills, unlike the milkshakes - Yup FREE refills on milkshakes at this restaurant for those that didn’t know!!
Cinderfella and I then shared a skillet
then I had the S’mores for dessert – it was actually Stacy’s as she was on the Dining Plan but she didn’t fancy dessert so I had to help her out… glad I didn’t have the milkshake now!
It was a silly lunch, good family time and fun catch up and these are some of my favourite shots.
After lunch I wanted to go get stocked up at Walgreens as I had only brought out some mini toiletries and was running low but I now had my Owners Purple Locker so wanted to get all my full size products etc for future stays.
Nap time followed and then it was time to get ready for dinner. We were meeting another couple for dinner tonight… yes yes you see how our trips go…. All in all this trip we met up with over 22 friends this trip and that’s not including all the little kidlets that come with them LOL
Yachtsman Steakhouse…. Yumorama! We were meeting with my GF Dossie and her fiancé Benjamin who were in the midst of planning their Disney Wedding.
Dossie had the Lobster bisque soup followed by a Braised Beef Ravioli - Cappelletti shaped ravioli, crispy wild mushrooms, summer radishes, and Flagship cheddar fondue
Benjamin went for the House Salad followed by Beef Wellington Deconstructed - trio of wild mushroom duxelles, puff pastry, parsnips, potatoes, carrots, and cabernet wine sauce which looked amazing
Cinderfella and I shared a Caesar for our appetizer and then he had the Porterhouse and I went for the 8oz Filet
Dessert had to happen – Trio of desserts for me and the sugar-free chilli infused chocolate dessert for Benjamin
Loved this chocolate
We actually had a view of Illuminations as they went off
Dossie and I before it was time for them to head back to Tampa
That really was a relaxing day!
