We've never done mini golf at Disney. Is a reservation needed? Planning on staying at POP & taking Skyliner in the am to Cape May for breakfast & then walking to Fantasia Gardens? Is this feasible? Also could we take a friendship instead of walking to The Swan Reserve?

Yes it is a easy walk to Fantasia Fairways Mini Golf. The Friendships will only get you from Epcot to the Swan & Dolphin dock. You can then take the walkway from the Swan toward the Swan Reserve.

Oops almost forgot your reservation question. While not required walk-ups are welcome. Reservations are available.

I would take the boat only if one is about to arrive when you get to the dock, or if you have people in your group who have difficulty walking. Otherwise, it would be quicker to just walk -- it's not that far between the Beach/Yacht and Swan/Dolphin docks and the boats are slow.

I highly recommend a reservation for mini-golf. I've heard estimated waits as high as an hour for walk-ups when we have gone in the past. Love walking up with a reservation and not having to wait!

The boat will save you only a little bit of walking. You will have to walk to the boat dock at YC and only take the boat one stop to Swan/Dolphin. You will then have to continue walking to Fantasia golf course.

Didn't know that you could reserve this. We have a round included with our package in March. We will be doing a reservation. Thanks

We played at Winter Summerland when we were there in December. We did not make a reservation. Wait times were over an hour for the Winter side and approx. 40 minutes for Summer. We took Summer. We were called up in approximately 20 min, maybe a little less. We enjoyed it! Have fun!
