Morning DISers! Does anyone know how long it takes to go through the Fantasia Gardens course? (This is the shorter of the 2 courses at the Dolphin). I ask because I have ADRs for that evening but I want to get in game of mini-golf ahead of time.

Thanks!

We walked over there when we were staying at BW a year or so ago. It took about 15 mins from BW, so about 20 mins from the IG at Epcot. If you are at a park and take the Dolphin bus from the park, it only would take you about 6 minutes!!

I would say give yourself an hour to an hour and a half to complete the shorter course. If you have smaller children in your party, you'll want to take more time (whack the ball!). The longer course took us almost two hours and we're golfers. You really don't want to rush through the course. It's just an experience in itself.

If there is nobody in front of you holding you up (unlikely), it could be as quick as 35 - 45 minutes.
That being said, that course has the most kids on it (most like Putt Putt, with the rails and all), and I have never seen it sparsely attended any later than an hour or two after opening time, or right before they close. If you are taking kids along in your group, that takes more time as well.
Minimum of 1.5 hours to play, would be my best guess. If it is jam packed full, it could easily take 2 hours.

thanks everyone! this is really helpful. i'm on the hours countdown now until WDW!!! :woohoo:

I think it will depend on the number of players... my DH and I did the course in just under 1 1/4 hour. He is a much better "golfer" then I am. I do think it would be better to error on the side of to much time. Don't forget to count in travel to/from time, and you might want to freshen up after golfing.

There are the 2 sides. The professional side was very, very hard for me. But I really am a bad golfer. Both were fun, but the left side was a lot longer to play.

Hope this helps, have fun. It was a blast for me to see Fantasia come to life. And by the way, it was pouring rain when we went, and we did have to wait till it let up a little. You might want to check the weather from your hotel, then call the course if you need to.
