Right now I'm reading "Sweet Tea at Sunrise". I already read "Home in Carolina". But I can't remember how Ty ended up keeping full custody of his little boy. I remember that the mother came back into town, determined to rekindle her relationship with her son (which she didn't really have in the first place). She was seeing him more often, even talking about trying to change custody to her and her husband-to-be. But I can't remember what ended up happening. "Sweet Tea at Sunrise" implies that Annie and Ty have the boy full time, and so far there hasn't been any mention of the mother. Assuming she's out of the picture again, how did that happen?

The way I remember it is that the mom tried to take the boy and keep him but they ended up resolving that Ty would have main custody and that he would spend some time with the mom as well. There is a little mention of him visiting his mom in one of the other two books. I think he shows up with Annie and Ty a lot since it helps the minor story lines they have in the next books.

Thanks so much! That's what I thought I remembered too-that they agreed for her to have some visitation, but so far there hasn't been any mention of her in this second book. I have the third book, but haven't started it yet.

She's probably similar to Robyn Carr, Debbie Macomber, Susan Wiggs. I think they've co-written a couple books in the past.
