I HATE using the lockers. I have separation anxiety . Can you suggest a good fanny pack where I would not have to use the locker? I have an iPhone 7 Plus, small battery brick charger, credit cards, cash, lip gloss.

Thanks.

Travelon make a few that are nice and compact - just be aware that regardless of what you go with, you will have to use the lockers at Hulk and Rip Ride Rocket - they do not allow you to have anything on the ride and have metal detectors.

Or, big enough pockets to cram your goodies into. (Except on Hulk and RRR, as noted above).

It sounds like a lanyard for cards and cash and throwing the charger, phone, and lip gloss in your pocket is your best bet. Although as others have said you cannot take the phone on the 2 “metal detector” rides.

I bought this one based on a recommendation from someone on the forum:

https://www.amazon.com/Kipling-Wome...r=8-2-spons&keywords=kipling+fanny+pack&psc=1

I really like it. If I'm not carrying much it squishes down fairly small but is roomy enough to hold a small umbrella if I need one. I've taken it fully loaded onto everything but Hulk and Rip Ride Rockit.

Have you worn it as a cross body bag on rides or only a fanny pack? I've got a crossbody that's smaller than this that I've been told I need to take off on rides.

It has to go around your waist.

I am assuming it is the strap they are concerned with on the cross body bag.

That is the only difference I see between the crossbody and the fanny pack.

I have the above Kipling bag as well. Works great because you can use it as both a crossbody and a waist bag. You have to wear it as a waist bag on the locker rides. You can't wear it at all for Hulk or RRR.

Only as a fanny pack, if you could see me you'd realize that there's zero chance of my looking theme park chic, fanny pack or not.

You're probably right. A bag is more secure around the waist although there is about zero chance it's coming off on flight of the hippogriff cross body or not.

In order to avoid lockers, it has to have a three prong clasp. With the exception of Hulk and RRR, as PPs mention.

I have one from LeSportSac that I like. It has two zipper pockets and is more rectangular shaped, so it looks less like a traditional fanny pack. I also think I can fit more in it because of the shape as well.
