Fancy magic bands

if you buy one of the decorated magic bands can you replace the radio transmitter inside so you can use it every year? I know people say that after a year or two the radio thing isnt strong enough for photo pass on the rides.

Our oldest MBs will be 3 years old as of June (I think). We were just there for Xmas, so they were 2.5 years old then. They worked fine for ride based photopass.

Yes the center puck is removable just like on any other magic band 2.
