hi

only been to DLP once last year but we are going again in the beginning of may this year and wondered if there is anywhere in the park where you can stop for a cuppa and a cake/biscuits etc.

we didnt find anywhere last year when we went but only had 2 days there.

think the grandparents will be gasping for a cuppa this year.:woohoo:

have thought of macdonalds...as you can get a brew back in england in a mac d's???

any advice is much appreciated as we're getting very excited now.

4 days at DCR this time so we could drive back to our cabin for a cuppa if really neccessary.

You can get a drink and a lovely brownie in the Cable Car Bake in Main St :)

Well, most places definitely serve tea as my mum is ADDICTED to tea!!

As for cakes/biscuits, the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour and the place next to it(i forget what it's called) definitely do cookies and muffins etc, and most restaurants in the park offer nice teatime deals, where for 3 euros you can get a cuppa and a brownie or lovely tart.

I hope this helps - you can most certainly avoid a drive back to DCR methinks!

Thanks Reid - that was what it was called "Cable Car Bake" we stopped there and it was the nicest coffee we have had plus a lovely big cookie too, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!

* well, I forgot that most of you think of tea as a 'brew', so apologies as I got excited about coffee! * ;) but you can still try these locations

ooh ooh I KNOW this one! I am often looking for my Kaffeepause and had to scope out places at DLRP.

I love the cafe creme which is better than the brown crayon water they serve in the US parks. My recommendation is Bella Notte for tiramisu or some other sweet, and a coffee beverage.

Most counter serve places have sweets; I would also look for gaufres (waffles) or beignets (doughnuts). Frankly, I didn't like the DLRP beignets and found the ones in the train station better.

Or how about King Ludwigs for a nice dessert? it was more difficult to find table service place for just Kaffeepause - Blue Lagoon said 'non' but a manager did allow me in as it was very quiet. And the chocolate lava cake is wonderful there!

you could also do the character tea, but it is at set times only.
