Just booked three days Dec. 21st to 23rd. I know its not enough but best I could do on a spur of the moment trip. I know the kids will love it. My wife, myself, DS11 DD6 and DS4. Staying at All Star Movies. Anything I should know about for that time of year and our first time?
Thanks

Welcome to the boards. Lots of info and tips here to be found. With the time of year your going and the shortness of your stay one of the best tips there is Is to be there for Rope Drop. That is getting to the parks 30-45mins before park opent to ensure you one of the first people in you can get alot done in the the first hour or two. If you family is a ride family. Also the first time we went I used Ridemax. Its a online subscription that you pay for allows you to input what it is you want to get done in the park that day and will spit out a plan for you as to where to go when. letting you have a more realistic idea of what will fit into a day at the parks. Have fun planning :wizard:

It's going to be VERY busy, probably packed. You will need to get to the parks at opening and utilize Fastpass. There's 4 parks, so with only three days you will need park hoppers if you want to see holiday festivities at all the parks. I highly recommend getting The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and also check out their companion website, www.touringplans.com

Good for you! As previously stated, you can expect it to be very busy. I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with the park layouts and having a plan for each. What attractions will you most want to see? Definitely get there for rope drop, focus on getting to the attractions that most interest you and then try to take some time later in the day to take in, observe, and enjoy everything around you. Does MVMCP interest you? Not sure of the dates around your time and if tickets are still available but they may be special for the kids and give you some extra park time. Request the WDW planning video, print yourself off the park maps, read the Unofficial Guide and I also enjoy Birnbaum's WDW. Have fun planning and make sure you have fun and don't get too overwhelmed because of your limited time and the holiday crowds.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party ends on the 19th this year and will not be going on during the OPs dates. MVMCP usually ends about a week before Christmas each year.
