Family t-shirts for upcoming trip

I have been doing some looking, however cannot seem to find where people get their very cute matching family t-shirts that I see families wearing at WDW. Does anyone know where I can look, or on a budget side perhaps I can order some iron on type things to put on matching t-shirts. I have seen some very cute AK ones. We are going to be there for Star Wars weekend and I thought that could get pretty creative in the way of t-shirts as well.

Have you looked through this forum to see if someone has a disign you like? I just discovered the form a couple weeks back and have had a couple of invitations made. I believe the gracious members in this section can make designs that you can have put on a tshirt. I am thinking of having one made to put on a shirt for my daughter.

Have you checked out the DISigns board? There are a lot of creative people there who can help come up with a design for you. I make at least 2 sets of matching T-shirts each trip. The HP transfer paper is my absolute favorite over other brands.

I have no idea what HP transfer paper is. I will have to check out the DISigns board.

HP (Hewlett Packard) transfer sheets are sheets that you run through your printer and then iron onto a t-shirt. I was going to do ours that way and ended up e-mailing the "dis"ign to a screen printing company and had them professionally printed. It ended up being around $15.00/shirt. I tried to find the info on the company for you, but it's long gone.

I had them "dis"igned by the wonderful people on the creative board. We've done that for several trips and it was perfect! I've got to track down the place again because we want some for our upcoming cruise.

It's just a brand of iron on transfer. You just print off your computer and then iron on, be careful because if you areusing color shirts you have to use a specific type of transfer paper. ( it's labeled)
Personally, I like the tie dye shirts, they hold up better. The transfer shirts don't wash very well.

I'm in the process of making some with transfer sheets. I've recently rediscovered my love for photoshop and am happily driving dh nuts (he enjoys Disney, but not enough to wearing matching shirts!)

We are planning a return trip to Disney - went two years ago - and our young family had matching shirts for most of the trip. It is SO fun and so affordable if you make them yourselves.

I'd HIGHLY recommend Amy's transfers - www.amymickey.com. They DON'T bleed and are so easy to use... You won't be disappointed.

I ordered all of our tees/sweatshirts/etc. (we went in February) from hanes.com. I was completely satisfied with the quality and the way they held up. The kids are still wearing some of the shirts today - over 2 years later!

Nope. Go to her website, http://amymickey.com, order her transfers. Find a cute DISign from another disigner on the Creative DISign board - there are LOTS to choose from, most which can be personalized. Print the design on your own computer using the transfers and iron on.
