Family Suites at All Star Music, Opinions

We are currently booked for All Star Movies the beg. of November, our first trip as a family (with DS 6 DS5) to WDW, and soooo excited. We currently are requesting ajoining rooms at ASMo due to the size of the beds there(we are used to King Bed at home) and our kids are very jumpy when sleeping. My question, even though the ASM family suites are booked, what are the chances of changing our reservations before September and getting into a family suite??(when the money is due). Also, how likely are we to get the ajoining rooms if its already on our reservation?

you have requested the wrong type of room. Call back NOW and request connecting.

adjoining are next to each other. You want connecting. BIG difference.

sounds like you have 2 rooms at Movie and want to change to all star suites at Music but it is booked.

don't know if they will become available. I would call at least every week - maybe twice a week.

WHile it's likely that you'll get connecting rooms, it's NOT guaranteed if there are two adults. Just be aware of that.

If you check in early in the day and are not thrilled with your room placement, you CAN ask if there's anything else. When we had an early flight and arrived at 11am, the only available rooms at POP were WAY over in the 90s section. I asked if we could be assigned a not-yet-ready room, and we got a great room in the 50s section. We were going to the parks right away for lunch, so didn't care that we had to check bags for the day. Our luggage was waiting for us in the room once it was ready.

Opps, yes I meant to say, connecting is on our reservation...I'm just worried, like the last poster mentioned, its NOT guaranteed! So I'll keep calling ASM to see if the family suite becomes available.
