Our loose plan for Tuesday was to decide what we really wanted to go back to and use Tuesday to do it. But the end of the day was reserved for DH and I to get away together for dinner at Bluezoo, and then the whole family going back to Magic Kingdom for the Spectromagic Parade and then end up the park experience with Wishes. A perfect last night, right? Well, I thought so.
Anyway, we decided to go back to Epcot. There's simply too much to do there. We still hadn't gone to see Honey I Shrunk the Audience. So we started with the plan to go to the Imagination Pavillion and do both attractions there and see where we ended up from there. We had loved all the 3-D movies at the other 3 parks and HISTA was just as good, maybe even better. It made me SCREAM!! I knew there weren't any mice around my legs, but I just couldn't take it. I screamed out LOUD. We didn't have to wait at all. Next we went to see Journey Into Imagination with Figment, again with no wait. We spent a little time in the Imageworks area. Then we split up. DH and DS stayed there for a little while, then went to Innoventions, and ended up back at Alfredo's for lunch. DD and I made our way over to Test Track where we got into the Single Rider line for a 20 minute (or a little more) wait. We poked around Future World a little more and then headed into the World Showcase. We worked our way around to Morocco for our lunch at Restaurant Marrakesh. Our timing was perfect, we were there right before a show started. DH and DS were a little disappointed they missed the belly dancing, but they really enjoyed their lunch.
We all decided to head back over to the Beach Club to swim in Stormalong Bay Pool. DH even got to slide down the waterslide! Yippee!! He got to do it twice! The pool is really fun and we had fun soaking up the Florida sun. DH and I soon left to get over to the Dolphin for our 5:45 PS at bluezoo. What a great restaurant! The decor is beautiful. It was quiet, a nice change even from the nicer sit-down restaurants we'd visited in the parks. The food was superb! I tried a Blueberry Martini and DH ordered his standard Crown on ice. We ordered two appetizers, the steamed mussels and the tuna tartare. Next DH ordered the Crispy Fried Chilean Sea Bass and I ordered the Miso Glazed Sea Bass. Both were beautifully presented and tasted great. We were both too full to try dessert. We headed back to the Beach Club where the kids had gone back to Beaches and Cream for supper and used the last two vouchers we had.
It was our last night and we headed over to Magic Kingdom to catch Spectromagic and Wishes. The perfect ending to our park experience. I've never been a huge parade person, but Spectromagic is worth going out of your way to see. It is fabulous! We were right at the start of the parade in the middle of Town Square and our view was right before it turned to go on up Main Street. We loved it. Then Wishes... we moved up Main Street towards the castle to just past the Ice Cream Parlor, so we would have a clear view of Tinkerbell as she made her flight. I know we were in the middle of the mass confusion after it was over, but it was worth it. We thought the entire show was beautiful. After it was over, we just edged our way over to the shops and let a lot of the throng of people pass by, and headed out when it calmed down a little. We waved to Mickey as we left!
Wednesday was to be our last day in the World and we would head over to Downtown Disney for DisneyQuest and some shopping.
