Well, we were slugs all day on Wednesday. I did have to get up and get the kids to school. I told you it was a school night!! I did manage to get the rest of the party cleanup done. I had taken the dog to the vet for boarding on Tuesday to be out of the way for the party. I decided to leave her there instead of have her go through the trauma of being taken back again on Thursday. I turned in the form to have the mail stopped. I lined up a pool service to keep an eye on the pool while we were gone. I used all of the checklists and tips I learned on the boards. I even had our dollar ponchos from the dollar store!

DH and I attempted to nap during the afternoon to catch up on our sleep. You all know that traveling is tiring. The last thing we should have been the day before leaving is tired, but we were more than that: we were "bone tired"! But you know, we were going to Disneyworld, tired or not!

Wednesday night we tried again to catch up on that sleep we missed. At least the children were rested. Thursday was spent tending to DH's office and me finishing up packing. After school was out, we were off to Shreveport on the first leg of the Reward Trip to Disneyworld.

DS, who is seven, was the only family member who really paid attention to the trip planning phase of the trip. He poured over the Unofficial Guide, and read over my shoulder on the boards frequently. He became fascinated with Hidden Mickeys (more about that later!). I even bought the Hidden Mickey book for him. DD, 17, thought I was "over the top" on the planning phase, maybe "off the deep end" would be a better picture of where she thought I was. But I knew better. I had this thing planned out pretty well.

We got up Friday morning, caught the plane. Made our connecting flight in Dallas, and arrived at Orlando a little before we were scheduled. The Tiffany Towncar driver Emmanuel (he was great, by the way) was at baggage claim to meet us. He took us straight to Publix for our grocery stop where we bought breakfast and snack items, water, milk, diet Cokes, and juice. Then off to Beach Club Villas!! Everything went like clockwork.

We got checked in and our room was ready. We just dumped our luggage, put the milk in the fridge, and headed out for Epcot.

On the walk from the room to Epcot, DH turned to me and said,
" Hey, did I tell you I was just elected Judge?"
