Well, this time we managed to get up and out of the resort by 7am. Todday myself, Nan and dsis were taking the 3 little girls to Cinderella's breakfast! I had gotten up early 60 days earlier and managed to get this ps. We had never been before and I figured it would be nice to try something new with the girls. We arrived for our 7:40 seating and were seated within 5min. We were surprised how lovely the upstairs is. The girls thought they were in heaven! My dd(2 1/2) was looking at the princesses in amazement.
Our food was brought out quickly and we thought it was pretty good. Not the best food we've ever eaten but certainly good enough to satisfy us. The potatoes are very good.
The girls watched as the princesses went to each table and they were eagerly awaiting the arrival at their own table. While we were waiting, my 2 1/2yo dd mentioned to our server(Tina-she was very sweet)that it was my other dd's b-day. Well, since it wasn't her actual b-day, we hadn't mentioned it but Tina said we should still be celebrating! She went and got some confetti and streamers for the table and brought out a cupcake and sang Happy b-day. She also brought her out a certificate stating that she celebrated her birthday there.
Each princess(Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White and Prince Phillip) came around and spent a good deal of time at the table. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to get pictures and autographs. My b-day dd had them all sign her certificate(we will frame it and hang it in her room). After all the autographs and pictures were gotten we left in order to get some time in the park before ee ended.
We went straight to Dumbo. There was about a 10-15 min. wait but this was the ride all the girls wanted to go on. I always avoid this ride because of the long lines but if you go during ee you can get on without much of a wait at all. We were able to get quite a bit done in fantasy land. We got fastpass for the pooh ride while the girls were on Dumbo. When they got off Dumbo we went on Snow White(2 1/2yo dd didn't like this). Next was Cinderella's carrousel then on to the Pooh ride(they loved this ride). Our final ride was It's a small world. As we were finishing up we decided to go and check on Ariels grotto. Ariel is my 2 1/2yo dd's favorite. The line was just starting to form and there was about 5 minutes until we could go in to see her. We definately thought this was worth waiting for! My little one was just thrilled that Ariel actually spoke with her. She even let Ariel hold her prized stuffed lamb(this is quite an honor since no one is allowed to touch the lamb)while they had a picture taken. The video and pictures are precious and we will always be able to look back at it and remember how thrilled my little one was. My b-day dd had Ariel sign her certificate so that it would be complete. Again, another great character moment!
My dh husband met up with us and we spent a few more minutes wandering around before the big crowds started. We knew this would be our last trip to MK so we wanted to soak it all in. We left MK about 11 and headed back to the Poly. It is so convenient to be able to hop on the monorail back to the reort.
Once again, the boys were all going to the water park so the women decided to take the girls to the quiet pool. Not as many people as in the big pool so it was a little more relaxing. Mid afternoon there was a storm coming so we were told to get out of the pool due to lightening possibilities. The lifegaurds are right on top of the situation and manage to get people out quickly. At this point there isn't much to do so we decide on naps. Sure does feel good to relax.
About 5pm we head to Epcot where we are suppose to meet up with the boys later. We went to the land and enjoyed the attractions there. We got some dinner there(found some pasta since we were getting sick of meat and burgers) Strolled around and were able to take in some of the beautiful sights. Watched the fireworks(we think something was going wrong with them because they looked very low and there was fire shooting way up)We were able to get this all on tape.
Got back to resort and the kids all went for a late night swim. Afterall, it was our last night. We all had the last night blues. We just wanted to soak up all that was Disney!
Went back to the room finally about 11:30pm and started to get some things together so packing would be easier in the am. We all tried to put off sleeping knowing that tomrrow would be the last day.
