Family resorts that are like Disney but not Disney?

As my son gets older, I think we will be trying out Universal soon. Thanks for the info!

I think 2 or 3 Universal pre-nights are a good balance. That's enough time to do most rides, or all of them if you stay at a deluxe resort.

If you take into account Disney will not guarantee connecting/adjointing rooms, No I have never stayed at a place like Disney.
