Family of 7, need a suite at AKL or CR? Any info.?

Can anyone provide me with suite info. for these 2 hotels. We are staying at the Dolphin in a suite for 9 nights and would like to add 2 more. Can you give me a ballpark price range and what kind of room I would get ??? Thanks

We have a 1 b/r suite booked for AKL in early Dec, and the rack rate is $635.00 (just don't tell my DH!) I've been told they are never discounted. You also said that you are looking for a monorail resort, the AKL is not on the monorail.

Why don't you check into renting a DVC villa. There is a rent bb on DIS under DVC. They are great and much more reasonable. They have full kitchens and washer/dryer. I actually just bought DVC b/c we have 3 DS and are hoping to add a DD this year. So there aren't any WDW properties to really accommodate us.

We stayed at CR in a 1 bedroom suite. It had two queen size beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There would be plenty of room for a cot too. The living room was huge. I'm not sure if there is a restriction on the number of people - we were only four. You may do better off with a couple of adjoining rooms. We did have full concierge and paid the very high rack rate posted on the Disney site. I was also told no discounts on suites.

It was fabulous!
