Which is one the of the resons I

the All Star Resorts --they can't be beat. I have visited WDW more than a dozen times with the 1st time in Oct. 1971. It was brand new. I've stayed at FW, Disney Inn, a few the of Hotels on hotel Blvd., CBR and the towers at the Contemporary. I got to see the MK from my balcony at the Contemporary and I'm happy I got to experience it once. I just prefer the All Star Resorts.
The theaming is pure Disney.
My last 4 visits have been at The All Stars and this fall when we take dd,dsil, and our grandson age 3 we are staying at the All Stars Music. I thought about AKL and even though we can well afford AKL I just wanted Alex to experience the Disney Magic at the All Stars on his first visit. I can hardly wait.
FW cabins are also an excelent choice. They sleep 6 people and have lots of room for your family.(504 square feet.)
Each cabin has a bedroom,a living room and a full kitchen with pots and untensils. It also has a coffeemaker,a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, cable tv,VCR,phone, hair dryer and wall safe. The living room has a pull down double bed and the bedroom has a seperate vanity,a double bed,and a bunk bed.
They have a petting farm, campfires with a sing-a-long and movies after for resort guests.
Sometime Chip and Dale join in at the campfire sing-a-long.
I am sure your family would enjoy it there.
BTW it is just a short boat ride over to the MK from there.
Enjoy your trip whereever you decide to stay!
Linda
