Does anyone know of this? I called Universal the other day to ask a couple of general questions. One of them was if we could have a sixth person in a Royal Pacific Resort suite if we paid extra. The woman I spoke with said no due to fire code regulations, that the only on-site accommodation for 6 was a suite at Hard Rock. I've looked all over the web, but nothing I've come across indicates you can have 6 people at Hard Rock either. Is this something you can do only if you make a reservation via telephone rather than online? Anyone done it?

As far as I know it is a max of 5 in all their rooms. We went with 6 people and had to get 2 rooms.

Weird - I wonder what she may have been talking about. Even weirder is she said we would need a king suite, but when I looked at Hard Rock's website, they list maximum occupancy in a king suite as only 3. :confused3

She must not have not known what she was talking about. The king suites are definately only 3. When you book a room on their site it won't even allow you to select more than 5 people in a room.

I found out you cant go by what they tell you on the phone. We are a family of 5 and stayed at Potafino and lady on phone said with 5 in a room I would have to book a room with a sofa.I said that was great didn't have to bring air mattrase. We get there, was told no sofa in our room.Glad we had friends that went with us,our daughter slept in there room.

oh my god my vacations r so cheap everytime i go to orlando... lol i only spend from puerto rico to orlando like $74 for the airefare and i don't stay onsite cause it's to expensive for me i prefer to stay on howard johnson or days inn or whatever n i only pay $23 to $30 per night..but staying onsite lol thats not for me lol that's why i travel every 3 moths to the theme parks and im staying like this till i get old :goodvibes:goodvibes

Just an update if anyone is interested - I was able to connect with a family of 6 who recently (just a few weeks ago) stayed at HRH. They stayed in a kids suite and said there weren't any problems. The staff knew there were six of them and it was fine. They said in addition to the king size bed and two twins in the suite, there was a pull-out sofa.

That was what I was thinking. The kids suites at HRH are considerably larger than the ones at RPH or PBH, something like 800 square feet.
