Family of 5 Re: add on incentives

Just wondering if anyone with a family of 5 or more has done an add on when all the incentives refer to a family of 4/studio accomodations. I will call my guide an ask if there is an alternative like extra $$'s off or something of that nature but just thought I would see if anyone had any experience with this prior to placing my call.

In the past, they have made available an upgrade (at your cost) to accommodate the extra family member when it involved a Disney Cruise. However, it was panned by many as it involved a considerable outlay of cash. Keep in mind many DVC studios now hold 5. There is always the chance that things are different, so do check it out!

Did you mean most 1 bedroom's now are allowed 5? I thought studios only allowed 5 if one was an infant (under 3)?

Really?? They are allowing 5 in studios now I know BLT and AKV allow 5 in the one bedrooms, are other allowing 5 in one bedrooms now? I guess I've been out of the loop for awhile.

No it is the 1 bedrooms at OKW, AKV and BLT that will hold 5 with the sleeper chair. Studios occupy 4 (and an infant in pack and play).

We are a family of 5 and always book 2 bedroom, may consider a 1 bedroom if we were doing 3 nights or less but anything more is a 2 bedroom or 2 studios.
