We just booked a 1BR at Boulder Ridge. The cast member said they will now provide a roll away or an air mattress for he 5th guest. Does that sound right? I was surprised because we stayed in a 1BR at BWV in November and took our air mattress and linens. Is providing bedding for for a 5th person new or was that incorrect? Thanks!

Unless this is a BIG recent change, I think that cast member is wrong, this is what the MS website says:

Views of Pool, Woodlands, Courtyard, or Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort Hotel
1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa
5th guest can be accommodated, but please note that no additional bedding, linens or towels will be provided
Sleeps Up to 4

Not true, you may have 5 in a 1BR but YOU must provide bedding and towels for the 5th person. They can sleep on the floor or on your air mattress.

They may have a couple on a first-come, first-serve basis, but it certainly isn't standard policy to make it available.

Somebody else recently reported being told the same thing for BWV by MS. If correct it is new and no announcement of it.

I think I'd chalk this up to inexperienced CM on the phone.

I have heard people getting such things. I think what may happen is that when someone abandons an air mattress, housekeeping is taking it and they may be making them available on request. But it's not a formal service, a guaranteed service, and if you get an air mattress that is kaput, too bad, nothing can be done for you.

That's my guess, anyway.
