Hi

I have friends who are planning to visit the world for the 1st time this summer. They are looking at the Grosvenor. Any info. on this resort would be appreciated. Can these rooms comfortably accomodate 2 adults, 3 children? How is the bus system, what is the passport that is included?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I stayed at The Grosvenor on our first trip to Orlando,2 adults in one room with 3 children aged at the time 5,8 and 10.The 3rd child slept on a rollaway, when this was out there was no room in the room.

From this experince I would never sleep 5 in a hotel room again. There was room for 2 queen beds and the rollaway,so when the kids went to bed we couldn't even watch TV and had no privacy at all for the whole vacation.

This isn't just about the Grosvenor. It's about 5 people squashed into one room rather me not liking the Grosvenor,I would never stay onsite at WDW for this reason.I hope this makes sense!

I wish your friends luck if they are contemplating this!

The Tower Rooms are much larger from what I have read. We just returned from there 2 weeks ago and our Tower Room seemed quite large and it still had a rollaway bed in it probably from the last guests. The bathroom situation might be pretty tough with 5pp..... There is ample storage space for everyone's clothing and plenty of hot water/water pressure. Those are big deals to me..

Are you booked in the Courtyard or the Tower???

Our friends had not booked at room, but were looking into it. They were concerned about the space, sleeping issues too. They have decided on another offsite property with a kid suite. Makes sense for them. Thanks for the info

I wasn't in a tower room, I believe these are bigger.

A kids suite, thank goodness!! This will mean they have a better holiday,I learned this the 'hard' way!::yes::

We also stayed in a Tower Room, during the Thanksgiving '03 weekend. It was fairly roomy and had an exra bed in it! Our 2yo dd princess: was very happy to have her own bed, to sleep alone, for the very 1st time!!! (yes, she does have her own bed at home, she's just never slept there before! ;) )

We were pleased with the space at this hotel. I may try to bid through Priceline again in hopes of another 'deal' here!
