Family of 4 do both parks in 1 day?

This will be our first time doing Universal. We usually do the Disney thing this year we want to try something different. With the deal they are advertising I am wondering if it is possible to do both parks in one day with a 5 year old and 9 month old?? Of course being our kids are younger we won't be able to do the coasters anyway.

Since you're going to skip some of the bigger attractions because of the kids and if you were going during a slower period I think you should be fine to do both parks in a single day but it's not recommended...especially for your first time. There is too much to do and see to try and rush through everything but some people don't have the extra time to spend an extra day.
