Why is this family member so controlling and so paranoid?

No, I don't have a family member like that, or a friend for that matter. It would drive me crazy to know someone is so intrusive!

Sounds like this person may have a mental disability of some kind.
My own father does things that are odd. I used to get mad but now I realize I should just set it aside because his thought processes are just not normal. I just enjoy the positive points.
It does put the person it a new light and takes a great weight off your shoulders.
