I've seen threads about Keys to the Kingdom, but DS is not old enough for that. Has anyone been on the Family Magic Tour at MK? If so, what did you think? Is it worth the money? I will get the 20% off with the Disney Visa and it will be me, my mom, and Josh going. I'd love to hear your experiences! :thanks:

This was a good time for all. The tour Has a Fast pace to it . some people had a hard time keeping up. The kids loved it and thay are 9, 5, 2. I would love to do it again hope this helps you. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We have done this tour twice and both times the kids loved it! I would suggest it for ages 2-9.

We did this tour this past Dec and it was GREAT!! Our children were 10, 8, 6, and 5.

It was sooo much fun! DH now regrets that he said grandma wouldn't like it too, she would have loved it!

Mark was our tour guide and he was great! Book it and have fun :teeth:

My DS is 10, but REALLY into Disney. Thanks for the replies. I called Grandma and now SHE'S excited about it, so I'm going to try to book. Do you know how many people can go at one time? Is there a limit to the tour group? Do you stay together for most/all of it?

I took my dd (10 then) and ds#2 (turning 5 at the time) two years ago. My older ds didn't want to go, so he and dh just had some extra park time. We had a blast. We are planning another trip this August and ds and dd both have told me that they want to do the Family Magic Tour again.

We loved it!! We were a party of 9, 2 dads, 2 moms, and 5 boys ages 9,5,5,4,4. There were 6 others in our group. Our tour guide was David-Logan and he was wonderful. I was 7 months pregnant at the time but he was so patient because I just couldn't move as fast as everyone else. One of our dads isn't one of those people to get involved in things but he even had a blast. It was a very special moment in our trip and worth every penny.

We are doing this on our trip!!!! Our DS is 6, and I think he'll enjoy it!! ::MinnieMo

We did this last trip with 10 and 2, they both loved it in their own ways!

We can't wait to do it again as, DH didn't get to do it since he was at work that day! I know that DH will love it too!

It is really for all ages!

There is a max of 20 people per tour.

You always stay together, no seperating. Just be prepared to have people staring at you :teeth:

I agree with everyone else! We went on that one with my 5, 8 & 11 year old at the time and they all loved it. We also went on Mickey's Magical Milestone tours and I liked it but DD said she wouldn't want to repeat it (she found it boring since she had just done a research paper that year on Walt Disney), however, she DOES want to repeat the Family Magic Tour.

You do stay together and definitely be prepared for odd looks. :rotfl2:

Sounds like its worth the curious looks!!! I'm booking this evening if I can get away from my son long enough to make the ressie!! If not, it will have to wait until tomorrow!! Thanks to ALL of you responded!! I'm SO excited!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:
