Here's the link...I reported all I could find: http://bit.ly/3w5WC1

I suspect there is lots more to this story though. I'd love to hear the other woman's side, since the family of the screaming kid was the one that got kicked out.

tanks barb for the article.

i guess i better bring duct tape with me this year for when i go on HR3.
don't want to be a screamer and get myself in dutch.....

I would be interested in the other side of the story...should be interesting.

I see the family filed a complain.
I do want to hear their side of the story as well.

wonder if they're lawyer'd up yet:rolleyes1

interesting that they got a 1 season/year ban, doesn't disney boot u for life? or is that an urban legend?:confused3

the length of banning depends on the situation and charge.

i do know one person that has a life ban from universal.

She must have done something pretty bad to be booted for a year. I hope this sends a message that people still should act properly and with good manners when they are in a public entertainment park.

Somebody posted a comment to the article with what sounds like "the rest of the story." If it's true, this is what happened: Basically the whiner was pissed because the other family got the front row, so she had her kid scream in their ear in retaliation. Then she harrassed them all the way down the exit and really flipped out when the police wouldn't do anything. She insisted that the other party be kicked out, even when told that if that happened she would be kicked out too. She threatened to go to the media and wouldn't drop it, so they did what she wanted and she got kicked out too. Now of course she's in full victim mode.

There can really be some rude people in theme parks let me tell you! I had my surgery in June and still have to wear my sling when at the parks. The other day in Shrek I had to go over to the handicapped area so no one would bang into my arm, then I proceeded down to the stationary seats since I cannot go in the moving seats yet. I heard a comment from a "jerk" standing not too far from me saying that he "should get a sling to get front row too" I really wanted to say something but figured he was too stupid to even understand. Front row.. first of all, no one wants front row in Shrek, secondly who would want the stationary seats unless they had to have them :confused3

Then going into Twister, I went over to the wheelchair line again, for the same reason as stated above. There was a family of 7 with one in the wheel chair. When I go, I leave my family to go with the rest of the guests. This family saw it was just me.. they still went, all of them ahead of me. Fine..they only went to the front section but stayed on the platform. I had to end up walking past them to get off it, to the stationary area.
It amazes me how people can be so rude and inconsiderate... even those in a wheel chair.. I don't understand how the wheelchairs can even tolerate the platform on Twister... but that is another story... my gripe was they had to be in front of me because they were with a wheelchair.. when in fact, I had to go to stationary which was beyond where they were even headed...:sad2: It is sad what this world has come to....

While not being there and seeing for myself if this kid really screamed in the other guests ear, I would not doubt it. It is unbeleiveable what people do for the "front" of an attraction... even in my case when the front isn't even any good...:lmao: I admit, I had to laugh in Shrek when other guests tried following me and sitting down without reading the seats.. the TM came on the mic and told them the seats were stationary....:lmao::lmao::lmao:
boy did they get up and move fast.. it ended up being me and a prego mom...

Mac - you had better share the duct tape. I am a screamer on rides. To me, that is part of the fun. Screaming is allowed at HHN, right? Maybe I should just go on HR3 then. I hear it will be cool after dark.

If the little girl was doing it on purpose, then that is really rude. The mom should have been kicked out. I see so many people cutting in lives at US and WDW, that I would never even think of making a fuss. People like all of those involved need to lighten up a bit.

Told y'all I was crabby.

Did I ever tell you the time that Metro was surprised in one of the houses we did together..........:rolleyes1

He was a real hoot. He was great...

Wow, if the kid screamed in the other party's ears on purpose, how immature is that on the part of the mother? If this is true, I'm glad that Universal tossed them out.
