I keep seeing videos with signs on Main Street that say "Family Fun Day", as well as footage of a parade with banners that say the same thing. What is Family Fun Day exactly? Is it a weekly occurrence?

I think we're going to want to avoid it seeing as how the person accomanying me on this trip represents everything that is not family-oriented. :lmao:

Yaaaaay!! I guess that means no children will be psychologically scarred!!

Of course children will be psychologically scarred!

It's Disney!

A trip to Disney isn't complete until you've heard at least one parent scream "Do you know how much money this vacation is costing me? You're going to have fun and stop crying if I have to beat you!" at an over-stimulated and/or exhausted child.:rotfl2:

Isn't family time wonderful!

"Scarring"........."Free entertainment for others".......
All in all, it's basically the same thing, isn't it? ;)

I saw/heard parents doing that when I was in Manhattan.....but no one seems to bat an eye when people do it there.

Trust me, now one bats an eye when people do it at Disney either.

In any of the Disney parks I've ever been to.

I have to say, visiting Disneyland Paris was interesting. You could tell that parents were saying pretty much the exact same things to their kids, but in French it's much more melodious. In German, however, I think it may border on child abuse! :scared: :rotfl:

LOL
I can see you in France.....

"Excuse me, ma'am--Would you mind yelling at your child again, please? It was so beautiful."

Which is why we often go into our children's room and yell "ACHTUNG!" when they are supposed to be sleeping, but instead are up playing. It gets their attention and is much more enjoyable for us. :) They'll probably hate German for the rest of their lives, but the entertainment value is off the charts.

turkygurl!
