Family, Friends, & Celebrities- A MAGICAL Birthday TR!!! *UPDATE*8/27! Final thoughts

Oh Tim. I was about 4 updates behind. I have brought shame to my family.:guilty:

Anyway, I'm glad you guys were able to salvage an awesome time despite the rain. And after reading your description of the taste of that cake, I'm kind of glad I passed on your offer to stop by and have some!

I remember running through that rain on our way out of Hollywood Studios that day and on to DTD. Bambi and I both had tennis shoes on that got completely soaked through. She bought a pair of flip flops at DTD. I had a pair in my hand and was walking up to pay when I realized I was about to pay $35 for an ugly pair of sandals that I would never wear again. I put them back and sloshed around for the rest of the evening. :woohoo:

Awesome update, Tim. The girls really held up well with their outfits and hair despite all that awful rain. And I love the pics at 1900 Park Fare (we've never been there; we've thought of breakfast but I read really bad reviews for dinner). I love how Cinderella dance with Ana and that Alex made the stepsister keel over...too funny.

The cake looked great, but sorry it didn't taste that way.

 love the picture of the Step-Mother, the wives, and Juliana. I love how everyone has sour expressions but Juliana is grinning. Cute!

:lmao: It's OK.. just don't tell them. That way they won't feel the shame too! :goodvibes

Too bad you didn't stop by.. you could of taken some of it off my hands!!! :rotfl2: Guess where most of it ended up? :confused3

Smart move!!!!! Maybe if they were $10-$15 it might of been worth it. $35 is a little steep though.

The girls did do a great job staying dry. I was surprised.

The food was great. There were so many different choices. It really put CMs to shame. LOL

The cake looked great, but sorry it didn't taste that way.
I wish it tasted like the cake Mel's cousin's wife made. That was awesome. This cake was horrible. A grocery store cake tastes 100X better. :rotfl2:

BTW they arrived safely in FL and are loving the 90 degree sunny weather. :thumbsup2

Juliana is adding some cheese to that picture. She wouldn't let the moms take the pic by themselves. She just popped in there! :rotfl2:

Another great update, Tim!

Looks like a wonderful birthday dinner for Juliana, and what a great seat! We love the characters at 1900 Park Fare, breakfast and dinner.

The cake looked marvelous! Too bad it didn't taste good.

Ok, the fireworks video was wonderful. I got a tear in my eye. I miss the world so bad.

Such a good update, Tim! :)

Ugh, stupid rain! :headache: As I was reading, I could picture you guys running to Pooh, then to the Castle. That's what I love about knowing WDW..I can picture what I'm reading on TR's!

That's great they were willing to fix Ana's hair real quick!

Aw..I miss the monorail!

Haha, that always seems to happen - We get sat down at the bar and the buzzer goes off!

I am so excited about eating at 1900 PF again. You know we love it. We were actually at one of the tables I can see in your pics this past June for the "1900 PF fight"! I loved how Drizella fainted when Alex hugged her.

Wow, the cake turned out great! It was so beautiful! Too bad it didn't taste very good. :guilty:

What a fun birthday dinner - so glad that you carried the princess theme throughout the day and even with the cake. Even though it didn't taste the best, at least it was beautiful!

Great Update! We always get rain at The World! We also carry our ponchos around with us. It is a great thing. This year, I got everyone a backpack so they can carry their own ponchos because I am usually the one that carries them and I think at 8 and 13, the kiddos and the hubby can carry their own. :thumbsup2
Woops.. sorry I missed this post. :flower3:

Good idea! It is easy having the stroller sometimes because we just throw a bunch of 'junk' in the bottom of it and don't have to carry it. I always keep 2 ponchos in my backpack for unexpected rain.

I love the meet with the Princesses and Tink. It is so cute and they seem to spend a good amount of time with the kids. I think Alex was too cute! So sweet, he is going to be a real ladies man!
I think Alex had the most fun meeting the princesses. He was full of stories to tell them!

We have had great experiences at PF (2dinner, 1breakfast).. I'd go back there in a heartbeat!

The cake looked marvelous! Too bad it didn't taste good.
I know. Juliana did her normal eating of just the frosting anyways.

Ok, the fireworks video was wonderful. I got a tear in my eye. I miss the world so bad.
Good thing you will be back there very, very soon!!!!!! Then you can cry in front of the castle.. not at your computer screen! :rotfl:

EXCELLENT! Now Daddy/Tim can stop worrying....they'll be home before you know it.
I know.... but isn't it time to party (a wee bit?) :lmao:

I couldn't of asked for a better day.... ok I guess it couldn't of rained. Everything was perfect and even though we didn't go on a ton of rides, everyone had a great time.

If only it tasted as good as it looked. :headache:

I tried to have you(the readers) visualize it. It isn't that far but with the amount of rain coming down, I got drenched!

That's great they were willing to fix Ana's hair real quick!
Probably because they had some cancelations. It didn't seem too busy in there.

Aw..I miss the monorail!
You aren't that far away!!!!

Haha, that always seems to happen - We get sat down at the bar and the buzzer goes off!
Dave & I were talking about it on the way to the bar. We both knew it was going to happen like that. It didn't disappoint!!! :rotfl2:

I think the stepsisters might be the best part of the meal. They are sooooo funny. I love when they fight with each other.

Wow, the cake turned out great! It was so beautiful! Too bad it didn't taste very good. :guilty:
What cha going to do? I mean that part was totally out of my hands. :confused3

I did pick how it looked though!!!! :yay:

Just NO strip girls, belly dancers, etc. ;)

HAAAAA!!!! :lmao::lmao:

You got it. I have to goto work for a while tonight and work tomorrow morning(i think?) then the partying can be on Sunday... might take out the boat with a few friends. :goodvibes

Right behind Anastasia was Drizella. Alex was already out of his seat and ran to her and gave her a hug. Drizella fell to the floor and was fanning herself.

She told Alex she wanted him to take her to the ball and she wasn't interested in Prince Charming anymore. It was really cute.

I love it! Alex instead of the Prince. That's awesome. Those stepsisters were our favorite part of 1900 PF...but I think I might have said that already. ;)

Glad you were able to salvage the day despite the downpour. We got caught in it that afternoon running from Once Upon a Toy to the buses to go back to the Wilderness Lodge. It was a mess!! So glad we opted NOT to go to a park that day.

Just curious- but I thought the stores were all ONE large store that you can walk through from one end to the other on main street.

Is that not so-- or did you just not know that?

--
making a list and on that list is rain bonnet in case it rains for our BBB appt.

that was a good idea-- thank you

Great updates! Sorry about all the rain. Thats why I wore my Crocs so much last year! Cake looked really nice-sorry you felt it don't taste that great. What a fun dinner at 1900 PF!

You were not kidding about that downpour! I hate the feeling of wet shoes too.

The girls look great for having had the hair done so long before dinner. That was nice of them to tighten up Ana's before you left though.

I laughed at Drizella and Alex. I wonder if these characters have lines they prepare for various situations or if they are just stand up comedians.
