Hey there! I'm back and all caught up!

Love the hot air balloons - what a sight to wake up to.

Sounds like the kids all did great at DHS - that's a long day for little ones with no break. I found that our kids enjoyed DHS when they were younger (and still into Playhouse Disney, etc), but now that they are 6 and 9, it doesn't hold as much interest for them. I'm sure that will change when and if they ever get into thrill rides - but that could be years. For now, its Toy Story and Fantasmic that keeps us coming back. I do love the Little Mermaid show - I hope you'll be able to see that next time.

The balloons were very neat to see! Juliana & I looked every other morning but they weren't there.

It was a long day but besides a few minor meltdowns, they held up very well!

We saw Little Mermaid for the 1st time in October and we loved it. Juliana sings the Ariel songs everyday, I wish we could of fit it in.

Amen to that. We were telling my DW's folks exactly that same thing when we got back from our anniversary trip. Some things we haven't done since our honeymoon 16 years ago. Others we have done multiple times and it's time for a break. A few things remain completely undone. One thing I really wanted to do when we were just there was the Characters in Flight balloon at DTD...but darn that rain, rain, rain.... oh well. There's always another time.

Waking up at 6:30 everyday was starting to get old. We tried to have Juliana lay in bed with us and go back to sleep. Yea right! That wasn't going to happen. Once again, I was up with her. We went out into the living room and opened the shades hoping to see the balloons again. Unfortunately, there were none to be seen. We relaxed on the couch waiting for everyone to wake up.

I wanted to be out of the house by 9ish but that didn't seem like it was going to happen. As it was getting later & later and everyone was still sleeping, I figured I'd cook breakfast. I made hash browns, eggs, bacon, & pancakes. One by one people started waking up.

I was so excited to be going to MK- I just wanted to get there! It felt like it was taking forever. Dave & I were packing up the car when I got a text from Barry (FreezinRafiki):

Barry: 9:16am We're here. Let me know when you arrive
Me: 9:18am OK... probably an hour or so.. braking a RD man law! LOL

Finally everyone was in the car and we were heading to the Magic Kingdom!!

There were so many cars pulling in- I had a feeling we were in for another busy day. We parked and did the whole tram thing and headed over to the monorail.

While we were waiting a CM came over and handed Juliana a ring. He told her that Cinderella dropped it and she should give it back to her if we see her in the Magic Kingdom.

We weren't even in the park yet and we were already sprinkled with a little pixie dust!!!!

Here comes our ride!!

Getting through the bag check and the gates are always fun. There were so many people trying to get into MK. I've never seen it like that before. We made it through and got a view of Main St. station.

We were barely in the park and we stopped to buy an autograph book. Of course we were at the 1st stand and the line was ridiculous. I suggested we just head over to the Emporium- the lines had to be shorter in there. (I was right! )

With the books purchased, we headed up Main St. and stopped for a few photopass pics.

The kids were so excited to see the castle and to be honest with you- so was I!! We headed towards the castle on our way to fantasyland.

It was such a beautiful morning. It was warm and the sun was shining without a cloud in the sky. This was the perfect start to the day.

Up Next.... How many texts can 2 'strangers' send to each other?? & It is all about the kids!

I'm not always the most patient one when I want to get to the parks....you did well...food always helps and breakfast food at that

I think from Presdent's week on it was pretty busy at WDW.

I had one autograph book from our first trip that I just continued to use throughout all my trips! Sadly, it's falling apart now... I also had my Grandma, Aunts, & Uncles all sign it Each new trip has the date on the first page.

My boys are the easy ones to get ready! It's my husband and my dad who are the slow pokes on my trips.
