Family Friendly restaurants near the HoJo

There is Millies, Mimi's, and Ihop. Have not eat at any of these but many have and I am sure they will post.

Can't get much more family friendly than Mimi's. We're big fans. We usually stay at Hojo's, and eat at Mimi's for most breakfasts, and a couple of dinners each trip. Their muffins in the AM are huge and delicious. We've been known to share a breakfast, where DW gets my muffin and a cup of coffee, and I get the main breakfast. Also, don't forget to sign up for their online club -- you get a free breakfast for signing up, and frequent other offers by email.

Hi there!

Mimi’s Café is the closest restaurant to our hotel, its right across the street from us! They have very good food and are open from 7a.m. to 11p.m., so they are perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are also many other restaurants that are within walking distance from our hotel. Downtown Disney and The GardenWalk are the most popular places to eat and to go for entertainment. A great family restaurant is the Rainforest Café in Downtown Disney, there are animals that “come to life” and rainstorms every 30 minutes or so. You can also go to Bubba Gump, or California Pizza Kitchen in the GardenWalk.

If you do not feel like eating out, there are restaurants that can deliver food straight to your room! Our front desk staff will be happy to help you menus of places that deliver.

Hope this helps!

We recently returned from the DLR - we ate twice at Mimi's ~ our Thanksgiving lunner *yum! And breakfast on the day we drove home.

I will add to the Mimi's kudos. We have eaten there several times but also like to do their take-out. It's sometimes faster and easier than being seated for a full meal. If we're coming back from a long day at the park and just want something good to eat in the room, DH and I will stop in and order and wait while the other one goes back to the room with the kids and starts getting them settled in for the evening.

We also love Mimi's. We eat all of our breakfasts there and some lunch/dinners. The breakfast is huge and can include the muffin talked about above, also includes juice. Great deal in our estimation. There is also a McDonald's nearby, if you prefer that route.

Have fun.:santa:

Mimi's is good, but so is Millie's. They have a large menu and the prices are very reasonable.

I haven't had the exact same things at each, but for what we had, I actually liked Millie's better than Mimi's.

Mimi's is awesome! the meals are huge, we always share, and very very good! I LOVE the mixed berry pain perdu.... french toast stuffed with cream cheese and marmalade covered with a berry mixture. comes with 2 eggs, and bacon or sausage for about $10. like I said, hubby and always share! also if you go to the website and sign up for their emails, you will get a coupon for a free breakfast when you buy one! sign up yourself and signifigant other seperately and you will have 2 coupons to use! We come from up by Seatle and it is cold and raining all the time now, we love to sit outside in the beaming sun beside the lovely flowers and have our breakfast there! OH! beware the coupon they send you is only good for 2 weeks so do this just before you go!
and yes....extremely family friendly!
oh another thing, I had their turkey dinner one time in July :lmao: don't ask me why, just because I could! and it was every bit as good as my own (I am a pretty decent cook  )

We also love Mimi's. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is right next to the hotel. Millie's is the next closest. It is pretty cheap and pretty decent.
A car ride down Harbour and you will find lots of family friendly restaurants, Joe's Crab Shack, Red Robin, etc. Of course you can also walk over to Downtown Disney.
Whatever you do, no matter how hungry you are, do not eat at Captian Kid's Buffet. Every person in our party agreed McDonalds would have been 10 times better.

Mimi's is great!! Huge portions, delicious food. :) Can't go wrong!
Millie's is very good, it's comparable to Mimi's but we prefer Mimi's.
McDonald's is walking distance on Harbor, standard menu but the dollar fare is harder to find. :)
IHOP, don't eat at the IHOP's on Harbor, food is fine but it is way overpriced. We paid about $50 for our family of four to eat there, the girls ordered from the kids menus and we didn't buy anything other than normal food, we won't be back.
Denny's, eat here, fast service, standard food, standard menu prices.
In the GW we like Bubba Gump (should have spent our $50 here), Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, I hope to try Fire & Ice when we are there in just over a week, I found a rest.com certificate to use there. :)
Farther down Harbor we like Joe's Crab Shack, Red Robin (altho we have one of these near home so we don't eat there too much) but these you need a ride, unless you want to walk quite a ways.
In DTD we love Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, we like Rainforest Cafe and we like House of Blues. We avoid Tortilla Joe's (we've eaten there a couple of times and been sick after) and ESPN (overpriced for what you get, but if you like to watch sports while you eat go here).
There is also a Carrows on Harbor, (opposite direction as DL so you would have to go over the overpass) which has pretty good food.
