Family discount & sponsorship of annual passports

Hi All

less than 2 weeks to go and the pressure is on to get sorted !!
In our party there are 3 adults, 2 children (7 & 4) and 1 baby (1 yr old).
We are kindly being sponsored by a a fellow disboard member (I have received the forms) which I understand will give us a 10% discount- is this correct ?
I understand there is also a discount for families - can we also avail of this
on top of the sponsored AP's ? Is there an issue regarding proof of address ?
I, my wife I the kids are live at the same address but the third adult is my mum who does not - but some sort of letter could be arranged if required !!
If not, then what family discount if any would the 2 adults and 2 kids get ??
I assume we all need AP's except the baby ?

Apolologies for the possibly daft questions but you lot are such an informative and friendly bunch - you put all us first timers at ease !!

Hi,

When we initially bought our annual passes we had my parents with us. Although they do not live with us we said that they did. They did not require any proof of address & there was no problem.

When you buy 5 passes together you get 20% family discount. Last month we had 5 family members buying passes. They got the 20% discount, but were not able to add on the 10% discount from the parrainage form. There was a difference of 65 euro in the price for them, so they did not use our forms. Unfortunately we missed out on 5 free years (1 year each for 5 people) as they went during the one sponsor one free year promotion! I would gladly have given them the extra 65 euro, but they decided to use the 20% family discount instead! So maybe you will not be able to use the forms you have been sent. You could always try to get both discounts, but it wasn't allowed in February.

There is no discount for buying 4 passes together.

You will not need a pass for the baby.

You'll not be entitled to the family discount as it is only for families of 5 or more, living at the same address.
You only require AP's for children above 3 years of age, which are at the same price as an adults AP.

As Karen says others have reported that they were not able to combine discounts, but the 10% sponsor discount will come in handy
