family dining outside of WDW

hi,
I am hoping to spend a day driving outside of WDW and hitting the
outlets... Can any of you suggest any budget wise family restaurants around the shopping outlets ???

I don't know exactly where the outlets are, but just about any restaurant you can imagine is only about 5 minutes outside DW. We usually eat at Golden Corral or Shoney's.

I can recommend Ponderosa for family value and good variety. I have visited one on I-Drive near Wet n Wild and also the one on 192 opposite Old Town

If you are going to be near I-Drive, Sweet Tomatoes is a good one!

There are several CiCis Pizzas and Golden Corrals that are family/budget friendly.

We really like Cracker Barrel. We also ate at Black angus Steakhouse. We went before 5 and got early-bird specials. It was very good and you got yummy dessert included in the price of you meal.

There is a lot right outside of Disney. 192 has quite a variety of places like Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, Ihop, Macaroni Grill...can't think of them all, but those are the ones that spring to mind.

Olive Garden and Outback are also close by (and for us, favorites). International Drive is also full of many many different places to choose from.

If you have some time before your trip, you may want to purchase an Enterntainment Book online for the Orlando area. Usually they are pretty much giving them away at this time of year. I've purchased ones for Orlando and Vegas for as little as $5. The coupons are a great saver!
