In case you missed it, the team launched the first of a new series of videos entitled "What we love about the Disney Resorts - Deluxe edition!"

There is a contest connected to this as well but beyond that I thought the video (well, the first one at least) was just a wonderful window into what Disney means to the team. What also struck me was the role family plays in the Disney experience - or rather, the role Disney can play in the family experience.

Contemporary:

It is nice to be reminded of what a positive a trip to Disney can be and not highlight what isn't great or not as good as you remember. We stayed at the Contemporary last our last trip to WDW and while I don't think I loved it as much as Pete does, there is just something magical about looking out your window at the Magic Kingdom and going down to the concourse and stepping right onto a monorail train from inside your hotel. I got a little chocked up when Kevin did at the end of the video

[Edit] Never mind. Watching the video is so much better than just listening would be.

And Kevin - thanx - I teared up with ya, and still feel the same way you do, buddy! :)

Thank you so much for posting this!

We will be staying there in December and now I'm even more excited!

Very impressive video! I love the interview format. Really well made. Looking forward to them all. I happened to watch this one with a view of the Contemporary in the background. It makes me want to head over there to hang out.

Have a :wizard: magical trip!

Absolutely loved it! Very professional and nice to get back to why we love Disney!

Incredible video. The DIS continues to top itself in terms of quality and content. Loved listening to everyone tell their stories. And Kevin's emotional experience at the end is something I think a lot of us have experienced, I know I have. These guys have been to Disney World more times then I'll ever be able to, and they still love it and get emotional over it. Fantastic stuff, can't wait for the next three.

Easily one of the best things the DIS has ever produced. Kevin's personal touch put it over the top.

Can't wait for the rest of them. They'll help me figure out which deluxe I'll choose when I win that contest. :)

Very best of luck to you, Llama Sama! :) (did I spell that 2nd part right?)

Heidi, I don't care what you call me, as long as you call me.*

*I've always wanted to use that line.

Just watched the Poly one, and it's just as well done as the Contemporary. Watching the Team relive memories, took me for an enjoyable stroll of memories at the Poly down Memory Lane myself. :)
