This thread is exactly what it sounds like!*- I'm just wondering what each program is like- pros and cons of each, different experiences of each, what YOU personally prefer, etc. Please list where you are from, and any other things that may have played a factor in which program you prefer/preferred! :yay:Thanks so much!!!:lovestruc:

(I'm wondering about factors such as: what the weather is like, if you get more hours in one program than another, if you did fall-is it worth missing your family for all of the holidays, etc., etc.)

I posted the same question a year ago, it might help:

My reason for wanting to do Fall is all the holidays! Which, on the other hand, are a lot of peoples' reasoning for not wanting to go! If you don't like the idea of missing Christmas/Thanksgiving/New Years with your friends and family, you might be unhappy with Fall.

Thank you soooo much! :D

Good comparisons. I dont want to be away from my family for the holidays but having seen Disney during the holidays I would love to be able to work for Disney in the future during the holidays.

I prefer fall for 3 main reasons

-The first few months down there is Disney Down time, the parks are basically empty so you get to do a lot more around Disney on your days off, while there's a comfortable amount of people around (no 3hr ride waits)
-Florida is always hot, but it's not quite as hot during the Fall semester
-Holidays at Disney are amazing, and after seeing them once you always want to spend at least one there

Spring semester is peak season at Disney, so there are many hot, angry, overcrowded and annoying things to deal with.

But to each their own.

My take on this is that it's one holiday season of my life that I'll be missing. I keep trying to explain this to my mother, haha, that we have yeeears of Thanksgivings and Christmases ahead of us, how many more chances will I have to be in DISNEY for them?? So that's my justification.. :)
