fall attire

I am going on the (3) day Wonder thanksgiving weekend. I have cruised in the spring and summer, but never in fall or winter.
I'm having a tough decision on what to bring. Summer clothes or fall clothes. At night I wanted to dress in velour, but I do not want to look too wintery. During the day, I have no problem, it is at night I'm worried about. I wanted to wear something Christmasse to have our picture's made (will they be decorated for Christmas?) Help!

When it comes to evening/holiday attire, people do tend to dress seasonally.

You won't feel out of place.

We cruises the 1st week in January in 03 and I wore a velvet dress on formal night. Many people were in holiday attire and fabrics.
