Fall 2024 - Mexico?

Just saw the new Fall 2024 itineraries. Complete lack of Mexico cruises. Wonder seems to be in Australia again and Magic seems to be staying on the east coast. Is Disney abandoning California and Mexico!?

It looks like the Dream is in dry dock when the Bermuda cruises would happen.

I would have thought the treasure would be sailing by then taking over a lot of the magic and dream’s lighthouse point duties but I guess not.

The fall San Diego cruises have rarely been full. Lots of discount fares on those. Probably taking a break for a bit.

Maybe I pick the wrong cruises from San Diego but mine have always been full and never discounted. It would be such a shame to not offer cruises on the west coast

Which feels wild to me... I'm used to summer being kind of ho hum, but fall? Usually there are a few interesting ones, but not this year. My only question for my husband when he gets home is if we should push out our Lighthouse cruise to a merry time or keep it in the summer.

I’m holding out for the treasure cruises, but otherwise, 100% agree I think the itineraries so far this fall are boring. I’m hoping as gold, I might have a shot at getting an early itinerary.

Both of mine were full last year but they were heavily discounted, and they discounted them early too. Lots of first timers on both cruises.

My bff and I were on the four night from San Diego to Vancouver and loved it. The next step would be Alaska, but I really liked Vancouver and am dreaming about going to Hawaii from Vancouver or Hawaii to Vancouver on some future cruise if that's what DCL is doing on the west coast. I am bummed by not seeing San Diego departures. There's got to be some sailings to Mexico!

I'm pretty sure there will be San Diego itineraries in the next release (ie. spring 2025). Wonder is set to return to Vancouver at the end of March. That's way too early for Alaska, and there's really nowhere else to go except down the south coast.

No help to those who specifically wanted a Mexico itinerary for fall 2024, but I don't think it is forever.

I was hoping for fall 2024 too, since we have a placeholder to use by then. With parks in Anaheim I don't understand why west coast cruises aren't getting the attention Florida does.

Not that rough. Out of the four days there might’ve been one day that was rocky but it was doable because I took Bonine and frankly the rocking helped me sleep better! We booked our state rooms in midship, which is much better than too forward or too aft. Also, we were lucky this past May because Vancouver was so warm and we did not even have to wear our heavy jackets. So it’s a matter of luck of the draw as to weather. I’ve been told that the Atlantic is much more rocky than the Pacific.

I’m just glad I didn’t wait to book the Magic from the west coast. I thought we’d be seeing her more over here.

I wish they would do more 7 days on the west coast but they usually only offer 1 or two.

A big thing is the lack of a Disney destination island plus there really isn't all that many places to go on the West Coast. So many options in the bahamas and carribean for places to dock. West coast there just really aren't as many options. I know a big draw for me, especially when I'm cruising with my kiddos is the Disney islands because of how much safer they feel. So far I haven't gone on a Disney cruise that didn't hit a Disney island on the itinerary.
