I reported it to PayPal, but thought I'd share in case someone isn't aware of these kinds of phishing scams.

These things make the rounds every couple of months, but it's always a good reminder!! For those who don't know, forward these kinds of e-mails to spoof@paypal.com.

Ive goten it a couple times in the last week. I dont have a paypal acct so deleted right away. Good tip and ty!:thumbsup2

I was getting them all the time and also reported them to Paypal. Finally got tired of the whole thing and cancelled Paypal, just wasn't worth the aggravation.

Im really suprised people still fall for those fake emails. I delete every email from Paypal or ebay. All you have to do is log on directly at the site and if there is some kind of problem with your acct you can find out there.

I do the same with bank emails or cc ones.

The best rule of thumb when it comes to emails is that if you get an email from a company, NEVER respond via the email that was sent you. If you think it might be legit (which most are not) log onto the company's web site, and check it from there.
According to paypal, ebay, and all the banks I've ever worked with, they will NEVER ask you to supply any account info through an email. It is possible that they might ask you to go to your account on your own to check out something, but NEVER through an enclosed link.
