Fairy Wings at Disneyland?

Hi,
I was hoping to hear from some of you who have little girls that like to wear costumes to Disneyland. What do those of you who have little Disney fairies do about the wings? Do they wear the wings? Leave them at home? Do you end up carrying them around?

My daughter wants to wear a Zarina Pirate Fairy costume (if I can find a green one that won't break the bank) and I am uncertain what to do about wings....

DD9 wears the wings. They tend to fit fine on the rides.

I made a fairy costume with candy bag for Halloween. My grand-daughter loved it. But wearing the wings in the park would be a problem. Maybe she could go with a fairy headband instead of fairy wings.

I think it depends on your kid. People are going to bump into the wings. The wings are going to bump things in queues. Some kids will be really bothered by that, or upset if the wings get a hole. Others won't mind.
