Fairfield Inn Toronto Airport

Hi everyone,
Has anyony stayed at the Fairfield Inn on Caroga Drive?
I was able to book this hotel as our stopover hotel on our
marriot points.
Any info would be appreciated

Hi Tracey:

I'm a TA and I use that hotel as my stopover hotel for clients and myself regularly. It's new and has a great continental breakfast. They also have a parking garage that is attached to the hotel which is really convenient. But best of all there are 2 queen beds and a pull out couch so the kids don't have to sleep together!!

We stayed there last year and it is a very nice hotel. It was pretty new at that time. The pool was nice and the girls enjoyed going for a swim that night which always helps with bed time!

It was nice to have parking, but we didn't get underground parking. It was outside. She said something about the rate we had didn't offer covered parking. My dad's car got so cold his brake line snapped when he was driving behind us after we left the hotel and he rear ended us (thankfully not too hard!)

Our only issue was the shuttle bus was very small. There were a lot of people waiting for the shuttle and thankfully we made it on (four adults, two children, a stroller, a car seat and a booster seat!). And when we returned we called for them to return for us as they hadn't passed by and they said someone was on the way. So 45 minutes later we called again and they said "no one came???" ... so some nice lady in the Sheraton shuttle took pity on us and took us back to the Fairfield! I am hoping that this was just a glitch and that they would have worked these things out by now. I think we are going with Airport Marriott this time, as we do like the underground parking!
