First time posting, and I've been thinking about purchasing 160-200 Points for the Grand California through the resale market, any advice for a fair price?
I would guess $110 is a fair offer and anything under $130 is a good deal, but it depends on how may 2014, 2015, 2016 points are included with the contract, teh more the higher the price and the less, the lower the price
I agree that anything under $130 for a contract with normal points (not stripped, nor loaded). The lower under $130 you can get the better the deal you're getting. I'd target $120-130.

Thanks for the input. What do you think of 250 points semi-loaded at $125 a point? I'm still thinking 160-200 points is best but overt time we might really want those extra points.

A 250 pt contact is a fairly large contact, which should bring the price down a little. Depending how loaded it is I might offer $120 to start. But I'd likely be satisfied at $125.
I will say those 1brs are awesome to stay in. So more points might not be a bad thing.
Getting the best price is certainly worth your efforts and all things being equal I would rather pay $125 than $130, but just remember that the price difference is going to be chump change as compared with the overall cost of your DVC membership over the next 30, 40 or 50 years.
