Hi friends! Has anyone heard if they will be lifting indoor face covers anytime soon? We are heading down next week….and I know we never need a mask anywhere, but obviously Disney has their indoor mask policy still intact. Any rumors on this lifting soon…..

Nope. No specific indication as to what Disney is planning. When it happens, seems like they'll give a little notice, and it'll probably be based on the area near WDW meeting certain criteria around positivity and perhaps vaccinations. Things seem to be improving among Florida residents in Orange County, which is a good thing. But there are still a lot of out-of-state folks traveling in for the 50th and the holidays, so it's still unclear. But it is coming, hopefully!

Considering that Orange County lifted all restrictions a week or two ago and Disney said nothing it tells me Disney has no intentions of changing their policy any time soon.
I wonder if they are choosing to wait until after the holidays and by then everyone ages 5+ will have had the opportunity to have gotten both shots and be fully protected.
I was really hoping they would lift it as I'm going next week as well however I went in late August and it really wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be so I am fully prepared for it next week.

There will always be something we can point to and say it's not enough. When Disney puts masks on sale then we know it will be soon. Let's see if this thread can get to a 5th page. Last one only made it 4 pages.

They actually just announced a change in policy starting today for CMs backstage, but nothing has changed for guests. Masks required indoors for all - so pack your masks.

I think this is a big consideration.

They were on sale this summer. I wasn't planning on buying any but then they put the policy back in place so I snap them un when they were $6 for a 4 pack. Spent $24 and had free shipping.
2 days later they were back up to full price. Was unbelievable.
So really them going on sale doesn't mean much as they could change their face covering polices at any time.

Oh man, b

Prepared here too! I travel internationally and don’t live full time in the US anymore, so I really wasn’t sure what was going on in terms of restrictions in the Orlando area. I usually travel to Tampa.

Have a great time!!! 🙌🏻😄🥳
