Fabulous time at the Grand Floridian...

We just got back from our Disney trip and we had a terrific time at the Grand Floridian. We checked in very early (around 7:30 a.m.) and were pleasantly surprised to get a room at that time, plus we were given a complimentary upgrade from garden view to lagoon view. (First time we ever got an upgrade and didn't even ask for one.) Our room was in Big Pine Keys, on the third floor and it was very beautiful. We had a gorgeous view of the Polynesian and every night we could watch the Electric Light Parade from our balcony. The staff was wonderful. One example was that our shower head was leaking and my husband told them at the front desk. When we came back from our morning in Magic Kingdom, it was alreay replaced. Mousekeeping always had our room made up by 11:00 a.m., which was wonderful if we wanted to come back to room for a breather in the afternoon.

An added bonus was the weather, as it was perfect. The lowest temperature was 71 with most days being around 81 and no humidity. All in all, we couldn't of asked for a better trip. This has been our third trip to the Grand Floridian, and it won't be our last.

I fell in love with the GF last Oct & am dying to go back! Sadly, I doubt it'll be this year tho, not with 3 trips planned.....maybe next year tho.
