fabric stores?

Mom and I are trying to find some fabric stores (for clothes) in our area (Dallas), but all we can find is Hobby Lobby, Walmart and JoAnne's, the Hancock's are all closing and very picked over. My google searches bring back either upholstery fabric or embroidery/quilting places. Any suggestions?

The consolodation of fabric stores in the past 20 years has left very slim pickin's, hasn't it?

Check the internet for other possibilities. My favourite went out of business about 5 years ago *sob*

It's really hard to find garment fabrics that I like. I try to catch the Joanne and Hancock sales twice a year and stock up for spring/summer/fall and my limited--very limited--winter needs.

Okay, I just did a Google search for Apparel Fabric and received a lot of returns. Didn't really look at any of them, but it's worth a try.

I tried garment fabric first, but it returned exporters and manufacturers. Not quite what we're looking for, is it?
