Fab Five heads back to the Happiest Place on Earth

I Love this Trip Report! :) and your photography is absoloutly amazing.

Thanks ben1993. I get lucky with the shots I take. The true photographer in our family is my wife. She was stuck behind the video camcorder this time. We always make a photostory of our trips and a home movie/video of one as well. Currently I am working on uploading all the video she took to the computer. It's always so much fun to relive the memories. Again thanks for the nice comments.

Alright on to the lost koi ponds and waterfalls of the DL Hotel.

As you walk into the that area

I will finish with some random shots that I liked. See you on the next post.

I love that shot of Astro Blasters! I hope you don't mind if I use it as a background for a while.:)

edit: I just noticed the guy shooting himself in that pic.

That's hilarious! It's my son and I will have to immediately asking what in the world he is doing.:lmao: Feel free to use that image anyway you want.

Thanks! It's my desktop background at work. My boss recently returned from a 4 day trip do disneyland, and believe it or not, they never rode buzz! After seeing this picture, she's kicking herself.

I snuck on top of the second platform and took so different perspective shots of the jungle cruise. Here is one of them.

Had several black and white shots down mainstreet this year. I like the look of shadow and light of my picture of Esmeralda

Sort of strange wide angle shot of Adventureland, huh?

One of my favorite areas of DL is the front and right hand side of the castle.

I have some nice B/W shots for my next set. Here is the first.

I love the black and white shots.

I'm glad you like the B/W shots. I wanted to make sure and get the Club 33 in the shot but not make it the focal point. For some reason my shots of New Orleans Square look better in the B/W shots. Maybe it was just the time of day I was shooting.

I think that the black and white photos have so much depth. And New Orleans Square is my favorite place in the park.

So what I want to know is........

How hard WAS it to give the wide angle rental back after your vacation?

I don't even need to ask if you're glad you got it. You brought back some nice shots!

LOL! It was like having a vacation within a vacation, seriously. I loved that lens. It was very hard sending it back. I'm not sure if I can ever justify spending somewhere around $700 or so dollars for it. Our 20th anniversary is coming up in November and we are planning on going somewhere relaxing. We are looking into the East Coast somewhere for a long weekend because we have put Cannon Beach, Oregon on the backburner for a summer getaway with the kids. So secretly I would love to rent the 10-22 again for out anniversary but I won't. We just can't seem to find a good place to stay out East. I will say though that airfares and hotel prices have great rates for early November. Thank Goodness.

Do you ever see those wide angle lenses on sale anywhere or used for a good price?

I agree. There is something so beautiful about a Black and White shot. Something about the layers of color that make me stop and look at the photo for an extended period. Thanks kaoden39.
