F&W touring tips?

I have read on several posts that F&W has been very crowded. One poster commented it was virtually impossible to push her double stroller through the crowd. For those of you who have attended, do you have any suggestions as to what time of day or which day of the week worked best for you? Or on the opposite end, do you have suggestions as to which days and times to avoid?

I love the thought of strolling through WS in the evening and sampling the different foods around the world for dinner, but given different threads I have read I am not sure if this will be possible.
