I'm trying to decide if we should cancel our San Angel Inn res to sample stuff @ the F&W festival? I have always wanted to try SAI but never have yet. What would you do? We will spend an entire day @ the World Showcase enjoying everything it has to offer. I already plan on this. We <3 WS.:yay: Last time we sampled drinks & food & it wasn't during F&W fest. Is it better than what they offer daily in each country? Should we keep SAI & do both or will it be too much?? [I have it booked for 4:30pm] We'll have our baby who will be 15m sooooo we will only have a couple drinks. And....the frozen margaritas:woohoo: are my favorite outside in Mexico. & that's not wine..would it still be worth it to do F&WF?:confused3 Thanks for the advice!:goodvibes

I would cancel SAI and eat the kiosks.

SAI is open year round and has been there a long time, so chances are, you can try it on your next trip. Food and Wine only happens 45 days out the year.

To get a good sampling of the F & W offerings you need to devote as much meal space as possible. I find 4-6 of the dishes make a meal for me. And there are lots of other booze options besides wine - beer and mixed drinks!

Here's a link to a menu of all the food booths: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...oodAndWineFestival/2011-food-and-wine-map.pdf

Maybe that will help you decide for sure.

I think the food at kiosks is usually better than what you might get a CS in each country. It's also more unique - most items are special for the festival so they're unique offerings you couldn't otherwise experience in Epcot.

Never been to F&W, but we've eaten several times at SAI, and I'd definitely cancel to sample the F&W offerings. The atmosphere at SAI is fantastic, but we've found the food to be hit or miss. You could always eat at SAI at a different time of year, as the PP mentioned.

Eat at the kiosks! We've eaten at SAI once, and it was a horrible experience. Bad service, bad food (cold, greasy etc.), and even the margarita was bad. I know any restaurant can have a bad night, but that experience was so bad, we aren't willing to chance it and try the place again.

Personally I have never seen the big deal about F&W.. Its exspensive, the portions are quite small (smaller than an appetizer IMHO) San Angel is a must do.. You can always go to SA and then walk around and sample a few things here and there..
